Bioelektra Australia is proud to have been part of The Shoalhaven Environmental Expo 2019 which was held on World Environment Day, 5th June 2019 at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre. The event showcased local initiatives, community partnerships and Council programs to embrace and encourage sustainable environmental practices.

Local artists and sculptors were invited to address the theme of ReIMAGINE with 80% of the materials used in the works to be sourced from materials presented for disposal, reuse or recycling at council-owned waste facilities located in Shoalhaven, Kiama, Eurobodalla, Wingecarribee or Wollongong local government areas.

The day was also filled with talks, information, art, innovations, local initiatives and practical ideas on cost-effective ways you can reduce your ecological footprint and reduce waste. Also had the privilege of having special guests Craig Reucassel (ABC TV War on Waste), local environmental champion ?Wombat? and the King and Queen of Green.
